Celebrations within the International Museum Day May 18, 2010 Moscow State United Museum-Reserve has once again invited everyone to participate in the celebration of "Day of Museums". Historic mansion Lublino In the Marble Hall of the Nickolay Durasov’s palace Moscow State United Museum-Reserve and the Department of the historical and contemporary performing arts (FISII) of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory presented a joint project - a concert presentation of the French harpsichord. The program included: people's artist of Russia, Alexei Lyubimov, Olga Martynova (winner of festivals, the winner of the International Competition by the name of Van Wassenaar (Netherlands) and a soloist of ensemble "Moscow Baroque", a teacher MSSMSH named by the Gnesins, CIM named by Tchaikovsky), teachers, undergraduate and graduate students FISII, winners of international competitions and the First International Competition harpsichordists named by Andrew Volkonsky in Moscow. The program includes English, German, French, Italian, Russian harpsichord music of XVII-XIX centuries. At the end of the evening participants of the concert were offered two themes for improvisation (in the spirit of Handel and Francois Couperin). Izmailovo During the celebration of the International Museum Day, wanted to remember the forgotten chapter of history of the Izmailovsky island. In Kare of the Sovereign's Court Museum organized a concert of retro-jazz for everyone including the performance of the ensemble Moscow City Jazz Band - City Jazz Orchestra of Moscow (the head is Alexander Goloborodko). The staff consists outstanding soloists, jazz luminaries, which has for decades played in the famous pop bands and dixielands.
