The 5th Concert for Ex-Servicemen

The 5th Concert for Ex-Servicemen dedicated to the feat of famous Russian commander Alexander Suvorov took place in Izmailovo Galina Gorchakova, Pavel Baransky (Russia), and Peter Berger (Slovakia) at the Tsar’s Estate of Ixmailovo

The 5th concert traditionally entitled “Concert for Ex-Servicemen” and carried out at the caré of the Tsar’s Courtyard in Izmailovo, took place 12 June 2011.

This year, the concert was given within the Russia-Italy cross-cultural year and was dedicated to the feat of famous Russian commander Alexander Suvorov who liberated Italy from the Napoleonic invasion.

The audience could hear the singers who had participated in our museum’s numerous projects, viz. Pavel Baransky (baritone) and Galina Gorchakova (soprano), as well as Peter Berger (tenor), the guest and the third participant of the program, and the Chamber Orchestra of Moscow P.I.Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the direction of Felix Korobov, Honoured Artuste of the Russian Federation.
