«During the festival "Empire of the Opera"»

The second festival "Empire of the Opera" in the royal manor Izmailovo will be opened with the opera by N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov “Kashchei the Immortal”.
The museum has already appealed to the heritage of this great Russian composer, dedicated first in the modern history Invalid Gala Concert, which took place in the estate on the 24 of June 2008.
On the 1 of June the audience could hear one of the operas written by the composer in 1902, which had an enormous impact on the opera XX century.
The festival organizers have invited prominent opera singers - Tatiana Monogarova (Princess darling beauty, soprano), Elena Manistina (Kashcheyevna, mezzo-soprano), Pavel Baransky (Ivan Korolevich, baritone).
These bright stars of world opera could be met in a similar opera project in September 2008 in London with the London Philharmonic Orchestra running by Vladimir Jurowski.
Soloists of Helikon-Opera will performe the party of Kashchei the Immortal - Nikolai Dorozhkin (tenor) and Buri-bogatyr - Michael Guzhov (bass).
